This Committee began in the early 1969 with the zext of Late Chief Senator Dr. Obi Wali, Elechi Amadi did Ikwerre Hymns and Anglican Order of Worship with O.N. Wawhnụnoro and Sam Wiche etc. Late S. A. Ekwulo published Mụhia Ikwerre and Other books with Jude Wali. Ndidi translated the entire Bible from Greek for the New Testament and Hebrew for the Old Testament . Late Prof Kay Williamson was the Linguistic Consultant. Ikwerre Orthography was defended and approved in 1981 as distinct language far from any other language.
